Malibu Yacht Club is a full service sanctioned Southern California Yachting Association and Association of Santa Monica Bay Yacht Clubs member. Our yacht club services include sponsorship of one or more interclub educational seminars, junior seminars, cruiser or invitational regattas annually and/or makes a significant contribution to yachting in some form or manner acceptable to our sanctioning Associations.

Since 1948, Malibu Yacht Club has been known to promote and educate our members and the community in safe boating and catamaran practices. Our unique emphasis on primarily beach ocean launching presents different and sometimes unpredictable circumstances requiring extreme caution and education for safe boating. Care must be taken to avoid extreme wind and surf conditions without proper training.

Member camaraderie and community spirit is of utmost importance. Many of our members have been associated with the Club and sailing activities for several decades.
